Analysis

I noticed through observation of my daily technological schedule that my use of media based technology is much less frequent then I once thought. On a Tuesday, which is my busiest academic day , I rarely look at my phone during class hours. Even before my class day begins (8:45), my use of internet technology is mainly practical. I use my phone as an alarm clock , look up the bus schedules and look through my emails on my laptop. I also notice that I do not interact on many social media sites, preferring to use text messaging or calling. I do notice a increase in my technology use when I begin to get tired, towards the end of the day.
I can make the assumption through observation of the data that I pay more attention and look at my phone less in earlier classes because I am not as tired. Classes that are later in my schedule get less attention because it is far easier to look at your phone then maintain concentration in a classroom. The data also shows a lack of social media use, I hypothesis this is due to the fact that I keep a small circle of close friends and family.
